Modular payload bay
Interchangeable wrist payloads: the skill swaps in minutes. Aru also carries NDT probes and vision payloads to survey the steel before and after work.
Our polymorphic Aru is spearheading the journey.
Aru operates in constrained, tight or messy spaces: decoating, welding and more, on site, autonomously.

Welders inside ship hulls. Crews in respirators inside penstocks. Aru takes the skill into the confined steel and keeps the people out.
Patent EP4401926 · Modular morphology Legged robots are too long, humanoids too bulky, drones cannot decoat or weld. Aru's polymorphic body changes shape to fit the geometry, then carries a skilled payload to do the work.
One robot. Four modes.
Modular payloads

Strips corrosion and coatings off steel with laser ablation. No grit, no blasting, no contaminated waste.
Repair and assembly welds laid in place, inside confined steel.
Applies the protective coating after decoating: the full recoat cycle, in place.
Where Aru works
Operate on hydro infrastructures like penstocks (pipes) or inside flow-control gates: Aru moves through >450 mm hatches, climbs on magnetic feet to reach the roof, and decoats with laser, welds and controls.
For construction or regular maintenance. Using a laser decoating approach, containment and scaffolding overhead is reduced to an inconsequential number, even in asbestos and lead conditions. Deploy a fleet of Aru, get the work done fast and your asset back online.
Whether you are building new ships or MRO, deploying Aru makes your operations more efficient, faster, less environmentally impacting with full waste-absorption payloads: decoating and surface prep, painting and the control that comes with it.
Without crews in respirators or hazmat waste streams. Even for your smaller compartments, Aru fits through hatches and deploys autonomously the process you are used to.
The platform generalizes anywhere skilled work happens inside confined steel.
Chemical tanks, offshore structures, refinery vessels, ports: same robot, same payloads, new site.
If your assets have geometry no robot could enter, we probably built the one that can.
